During the 4th marking period, students will have 10 school days to get missing assignments turned in.  Within that 10 days, 5 pts. will be taken off for each day late, this includes absences.

Last day to turn in late work for the 4th marking period is May 30th. 

Remember students can stay after school on Mondays or Wednesdays to get caught up.  A late bus, arriving at 3:30pm will be provided for those who sign-up to stay after school. You can sign-up with the teacher you need to stay after school for.

The students will be doing a mini research paper on a topic of their choice. Students have the choice to select from one of the four core subject area topics. Advanced ELA

Advanced ELA would follow the regular MPS curriculum for that grade level with special attention to extending  themes and concepts and more in-depth and independent work on the part of students.  Additional literature to be found in the McDougal Literacy Connections and novels.
