One of the projects I tackled for the beginning of this year was to take a photo of every staff member to be hung outside their classroom or office.  I asked staff to choose a favorite book for their photo.  They also could choose a special background.  Check out our teacher pages to see some of the photos. My book is a collection of stories told at the Jonesborough Storytelling Festival in 1993.  Attending that festival was one of my favorite experiences of all times.  Master storytellers kept my attention for three days.  My background is a scene from Ireland.  I was fortunate to visit Ireland in 2001 with my mother, my husband, and his mother.  I have a soft spot for Irish stories.
